There’s always that one kid
who needs a little more love
who knows the circumstances
who knows the situation
only our Father above
meditating on Psalm 127:3
with an adopted heart
eyes to see through His
hearing “slow down” through a whisper
at last, a gift
would our tasks be replaced
would interruptible become who we are
so the next time they need
relief would be found in our arms
finally at peace

This post touched my heart! It’s so easy to be caught up the cares of the world. One thing I am trying to do is since I retired is to “Slow Down” It seems like it would be easy once I retired. I’m making progress but still struggle at times This blog is a good reminder for me to be more intentional about slowing down. Can’t wait to see you soon and catch up on how your race is going.
