First off, Hannah is our amazing ministry host who has created a comfortable and loving space for all 54 of us to call home this month. So, big shoutout to her heart to serve us. Hannah is bold and has made a move that changed lives around the world. In her early 20's she made the decision to partner with a ministry called Christian Surfers and plant it right in the center of Jaco, Costa Rica. At the time, Jaco had a terrible reputation. It was a beach town full of partying, drinking and prostitution. This town was not a place where you would want to be yet Hannah had a vision to center a loving community in the middle of it. 

Over the past 20 years, Hannah's ministry has partnered with the city, churches and people in the community to meet needs from painting to picking up trash and being a helping hand at the local church, Horizon. God spoke Psalm 18:16 over Hannah's life years ago which has brought all of us to this place today. "He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters." (Psalm 18:16). 

We are so grateful to be in the town of Jaco doing the Lord's work and meeting new faces everyday. Each encounter brings new opportunities.
